9/12, hosted by Dan Taberski, asks how the day after September 11 turned into a permanent idea, told through people who were children or close to the machinery that followed.

Pineapple Street produced it. Taberski, who had already made Missing Richard Simmons, uses the same close, slightly nervous interviewing on a subject people usually approach with a pre-written speech.

The series is narrative history of a mood. Policy and kitsch and family stories share the episodes, because that is how the years actually felt.
